Mango Beer - 4.5% ALC VOL. APPROX 1.2 STD DRINKS PER 330mL BOTTLE

Drawing on Belgium’s seasonal fruit tradition, Matos’s Mango Beer was once only brewed during the the ‘build up’ to the wet season when the trees were heavy with fruit. While it’s still best savoured in more humid times, now we can enjoy its sweet aroma and dry finish without sticky fingers or sweat in our eyes.

Burleigh Heads - Hef

HEF National Release from Burleigh Brewing Company

HEF (Hefeweizen) = unfiltered wheat beer HEF is made from only malted wheat,

HEF boasts the classic German wheat beer characters of banana and clove aromas, rich flavours, a bright white head and a smooth, creamy texture.

Very refreshing.

The soft, clean flavours make a great pre-meal aperitif. They also pair perfectly with almost all seafood and are a great accompaniment to anything with a bit of spice.

Red Duck - Overland Bright Ale

Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Overland Track. Treking past Cradle Mountain, Mt Ossa, and arriving at the sparkling waters of Lake St Clair, wishing that after 10 days on the trail, we had a beer like this; pristine, refreshing and all natural.

Red Duck Overland is inspired by Kolsch, the traditional light ales from Cologne, made from malted barley and malted wheat. Brilliantly clear, fresh aromatics, easy, clean drinking with a crisp dry finish. It is the perfect summer beer.

Hargreaves Hill - Pale Ale

Hargreaves Hill Pale Ale is an English style Pale Ale, with its maltiness well integrated with its bitterness. It features a generous caramel mouthfeel, followed by a marmalade style bitterness, with floral notes from US Cascade hops

Byron Bay Brewing - Lager

All-natural premium bright golden beer. Full-bodied but beautifully balanced with good hop bitterness, makes this 100% barley malt beer the perfect choice with almost any food.

Brewboys SA - Schweinhund

Achtung!

Your proud brewers at brewboys have designed this beer to be a true hefeweizen, so it must be served cloudy. You’ll need to gently roll the bottle to disperse the healthy living yeast.

The beer is yellow to amber in colour, and has a strong burst of banana caramel aroma, along with lots of clove-like spice.

Using a traditional Bavarian wheat beer yeast in fermentation produces the hallmark characteristics of fruity esters and spicy phenolics. It also contributes a zesty level of acidity giving the beer a cleansing tart finish.

The mouthfeel is very full bodied, with a flavour experience initially perceived as sweet, and then with a wheaten taste like fresh bakers flour. After all the Germans call this “liquid bread”.

Fantastic served cold in a tall tulip shaped glass next to some fine Bratwurst or a hearty wiener schnitzel.

It’s pretty easy drinking, but at 5.2% you’ll be oom-pa-pa-ing in no time!

Prost!

Jamieson VIC - Raspberry Ale

Jamieson Raspberry Ale has real Raspberries added at the fermenter to give the beer a distinct flavour. Colour is that of a pale ale but does have a pink tinge and good carbonation. Raspberry is the aroma and Raspberry is the first flavour on the tip of the tongue. Mid palate is a light biscuit malt flavour and has a dry thirst quenching finish. A crowd-pleaser, this won a Peoples Choice Award at Federation Square Beer Expo in 2006 & 2007

Wig + Pen ACT - Kembery Ale

Kembery is the first foray into the packaged beer market by the accredited and renowned brewer Richard Watkins (Wig & Pen Brew pub, Canberra) It’s pertinent that Kembery is a regional ale, as its distribution, packaging and profile support the notion of delivering quality locally before risking quality aiming for wider markets. Regional Ales are often referred to as “Summer Ales”. “Kolsch” from Cologne, is a classic example of this style of beer. Kembery presents beautifully in a glass with its light, sparkly appearance, and the clean, fresh, soft malt aroma are signatures for this beer. Using an ale yeast, and fermenting under lager conditions allows the beer to deliver the same clean, uncomplicated freshness as the aroma portrays. Kembery delivers a slight malty butteriness on the tongue and is very well balanced. The sessionability is high and the dry character and way the beer finishes dry give Kembery every opportunity to suitably pair with an array of dishes from salads to seafood and chicken.

Red Hil VIC - Scotch Ale

The colour of burnished copper, strong with a caramely sweetness. A malt driven beer, lightly balanced with our own Goldings and Willamette fresh hop flowers. The grain make up in this beer is a tightly kept secret. It has taken 7 years to perfect and is a very special blend of English Malts, some of which are dark roasted to impart the toffee and sweet flavours of this ale.

Also winner of "Best in Class" for Class 35 - Scotch Ale & Barleywines Section of the Australian International Beer Awards 2006

The Little Brewing Co NSW - Pilsner

A southern Czech example of the original golden coloured lager brewed in 1842 in Pilsen, Bohemia (Czech Republic), using the local hops and malts. Colour and appearance: A pale golden pilsner with a creamy white head. Aroma: Complex and malty, with a spicy/floral hop aroma from imported Czech Saaz hops. Flavour: Dominated by maltiness with a pronounced soft, rounded bitterness and flavour from fresh hops. Aftertaste is a balance of malt and hops with a medium body and a lingering bitter finish.Although still crisp, it has a softer, smoother, more sensuous mouthfeel than the northern Czech variants.

A crisp, complex, well-rounded, refreshing pilsner.

Two Metre Tall TAS - Cleansing Ale

Refreshing, bottle-conditioned real ale, perfect to quench the thirst! This ale has been brewed to introduce consumers to the fascinating world of real ale and uses 100% Tasmanian ingredients.

Coldstream Bitter

A delicious golden ale brewed with premium quality English malting barley and delightfully hopped with the two classic aroma varieties, Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. (4.8% ABV)

This traditional ale pours with a beautiful creamy head and exhibits a full-bodied maltiness that yields to a gentle bitter finish.

Available on draught and in bottles at selected outlets.

The Cidery - Spider

Spider Cider is a 5% sparkling dry cider with “real” apple character, that is both satisfying and refreshing.

Following the crushing of premium quality local apples, fermentation of the juice is carried out using champagne yeasts and temperature control to retain the natural fruit characters. Following fermentation the processing ensures that these attractive characters are retained, producing a natural dry cider with fresh acidity and a clean dry finish.

Matsos - Smokey Bishop

The Smokey Bishop is named for a well known Broome conoisseur of fine food, friends and beverages. It is a regal beer intended to pay homage to the dark lagers/ bocks of Bavaria, and all things rich and valuable in life.

It’s immediate, lush and enticing aromas of dark chocolate reveal an inviting ‘fruit-cake’ like palate that carries a depth of flavour with finesse. This character is derived from a special blend of light and dark Munich malts that also provide its distinctive chocolate notes. It is only mildly hopped with Hallertau and Spalt to subtly balance the enticing maltiness unique to the style.

In Bavaria, this beer style – while always malt driven – can be elegantly complex through to deep, rich and brooding. The Smokey achieves all of this without being overpowering or cloying.

Matsos - Monsoonal Beer

Matso’s Monsoonal Blonde is named for the environment in which it is brewed and best appreciated.

Being located on the fringe of the Asian monsoonal zone, Broome experiences a hot and humid ‘wet season’. The Blonde is perfect for this time of year, the ‘troppo time’,‘silly season’, or ‘hanging time’ when a thirst needs to be extinguished.

It is a crystal wheat beer based on the classic Belgian ‘wit’ (white) family of beers and is designed for ‘quaffing’. The Blonde’s malt grist bill has a 60/40 blend of wheat malt to barley malt and is only very lightly hopped with Spalt and Hersbrucker.

Further character is provided through the inclusion of a small amount of cracked cardamom pods that contribute to its unusual and enticing aromatic complexity.

Mountain Goat-Steam Ale

This is a certified organic steam ale. It's the product of an all-natural brewing process that incorporates cool fermentation and a hit of wheat malt. The result is a crisp, palate cleansing ale. Red Hill - Bohemian Pilsner

Based on the classic style of lager first brewed in the town of Pilsen in Bohemia (now Czech Republic), this is an unfiltered, yet clean & balanced beer. A generous malt character imparts a slight sweetness which is balanced by potent hop bitterness, achieved by 3 hefty additions of hop flowers in the boil. A long and cold fermentation period followed when plenty of hop flowers were steeped in the conditioning tanks with the beer for a further 6 weeks creating a floral and spicy aroma. Golden in colour with a dense white head, you will be left with the hoporific effect of having the corners of your mouth go up!
