Winner Premiers Trophy 2008 AIBA - Best Victorian Beer

Malt! That's what this beer says. Also known as a Vienna Lager or Marzen Beer (March Beer) this style is a traditionally brewed German lager combining an abundance of Vienna and Munich malts to create a deep red or burnished copper Lager - full of biscuity malt goodness and full bodied caramel flavours. A warming alcohol level and light bitterness make this malty treat a great food all-rounder, and an all-round favourite for both beer enthusiasts and the less adventurous alike.

This beer was the highest scoring Victorian beer at the 2008 Australian International Beer Awards, and as such was the recipient of the Premiers Trophy. By a quirk of fate, the engravers made an error in the name on the trophy and henceforth this fantastic Vienna style-lager is named Big Reg in honour of the 2008 Premiers Trophy.
